HIGHLIGHTS:
Captain Ron’s: A short walk down a staircase at the back of the RV park, will lead you down to the dock, outdoor bar, beach and swimming, volleyball courts, a bounce house and an indoor / outdoor restaurant. We spent hours each day here! Kids fished off the dock, met new friends, and ordered virgin daiquiris. They often have live music at the outdoor stage, so people watching is prime.
Franky and Louis Beach Front Bar / Grill: Very similar to Captain Ron’s, this RV park / outdoor bar / beach area and dock is right down the street. You’ll often recognize new friends from both locations bounce back and forth from lunch to dinner.
SHOULD I HAVE KNOWN:
While Captain Ron’s RV park is in a prime location and the grounds were well maintained, I was not impressed with the management. Run by one individual, she is often curt and micromanages many of the guests. Should we visit again, will try to stay at Franky and Louis.
