You can purchase ammo at the gas station, there are no masks in site, patriotism seeps from every corner, the baggers load your groceries into the car, and bison greet you in the produce aisle... because, South Dakota.
HIGHLIGHTS:
Arrowhead Resort: Down the road a mile, you’ll find this quaint resort. The indoor pool / jacuzzi was a nice getaway from the heat. Tons of families, so our kids loved making some new friends.
SHOULD I HAVE KNOWN:
Oacoma is a very small town… I believe 3 or 4 days would have been sufficient. It was tough finding things to do for an entire week.
We found the community pool on the last day! It looked like a blast with water slides and splash area. Maybe next time.
