New Orleans KOA
HIGHLIGHTS:
Cajun Encounters: Alligators, raccoons, and snakes… OH MY. This swamp tour was more than expected.
Jackson Square: Traditional New Orleans. Street vendors, magicians, river walk, red trolley tours and gumbo.
DAY TRIP IDEAS:
Slidell / Lake Pontchartrain: One hour North, you cross a 23 mile bridge to reach Slidell. First time my eldest has felt relaxed enough to actually nap on a trip.
SHOULD I HAVE KNOWN:
New Orleans KOA is secure - though the neighborhood directly outside - is not. Due to crime, we did not venture out after dark.
